One of the first steps to getting organized is finding a place for all the different things that you have. In a classroom, there is usually an abundance of different types of school supplies. Once you find a place for these things not remembering where you put them throughout the school year can be frustrating especially when you find the item when you're least looking for it. Making labels for each item you find a place for will help keep your supplies easily accessible for you and your students. There are many websites that have templates to create labels or making your own can keep your classroom you.

  1. I like your labeling idea! I will definitely use that idea in my future classroom! In fact, I am going to start using it around our house. My wife and I are always losing things. We can never seem to find what we are looking for. For example, instead of having one place where our mail goes, we have a couple of piles around the living room. I think that applying your advice and labeling would help us keep our mail in better shape. We could even label different categories of mail! Alright, now I am just getting carried away. Would you happen to have any favorite websites for label templates?

    1. I am a very DIY kind of person so I like to do these kinds of things myself but I know there are many websites out there with free templates to use, like teacherspayteachers.com or maybe the SEN Teacher website: https://goo.gl/iyiiHX. Hope those help!
